Toto Memorial Dedication June 18, 11 A.M.
Last fall a campaign was launched on Facebook to raise money for a permanent memorial in honor of Terry, the Cairn Terrier who played Toto in the original "Wizard of Oz" movie. J.P. Myers and Steve Goldstein initiated this effort in response to learning that Terry's original burial site on the ranch owned by her trainer Carl Spitz had been destroyed during the construction of the 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley.

Well good news! Hollywood Forever Cemetery, final resting place of such legends as Rudolph Valentino, Douglas Fairbanks, and Victor Fleming who directed The Wizard of Oz, has donated a VIP plot and commissioned a sculpted memorial.
The dedication of the Toto memorial is set for Saturday, June 18, at 11 a.m. We hope all club members, friends and dogs will join in this historic event.

I've seen Wizard of Oz and I think I remember the dog in the movie. I believe Toto is now happy resting.
