Great Western Terrier Association Specialty 2011

On the second day of our annual specialty, it was hard to imagine the weather could be any nicer than the previous day, the dogs any more beautiful or an event more enjoyable.

But once again we had ideal weather, a strong and deep entry of Cairn Terriers, all enjoyed as sailboats glided by, pelicans dove into the water and we enjoyed the wonderful oceanfront park setting in Long Beach, California.

Thanks to all our visitors for taking the time and effort to travel to Southern California and share this special show with us.

This year all the photos posted online can be downloaded or, if you prefer, sent directly to a variety of the top photo printing sites. You can access the photos by clicking here.

Cairn Terrier Club of Southern California Specialty 2010 -- Day 1

A fabulous first day at the Cairn Terrier Club of Southern California's annual Specialty show. There may be no more scenic venue in the country than the oceanfront park at Long Beach, California, near the historic Queen Mary liner, where many of the visitors stayed.

Beautiful dogs, a magnificent setting, ideal 72 degree weather, sunshine and lots of fun and comradery.

Topped off by our annual costume contest. Thanks to all for sharing this wonderful day with us, and for supporting our fund-raising to rescue Cairns.
